Think about someone building a huge, beautiful church. Everyone looks at the tall windows and the fancy walls. But what about the work hidden deep under the ground? That foundation is not pretty, but it is the most important part. Without a strong base, the whole building would fall down.
Integrity is like that foundation. It is the work you do inside yourself. It is about doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. It is what makes your life stand strong and tall.
Integrity means being the same person all the time. It means your actions match what you believe.
Being Honest: Telling the truth, even when it is hard.
Being Simple: Doing good things because you have a kind heart, not because you want people to praise you.
Being Real: Not pretending to be someone you are not.
Think about a boy who finds a lost wallet. He could easily keep the money, and no one would ever know. But he finds the owner and gives it back. That is integrity! It is choosing to be honest when it would be much easier to be selfish.
Ask yourself: “Am I the same person at home as I am with my friends? Am I the same person online as I am in real life?”
Sometimes, we are tempted to take a shortcut or tell a “little” lie. To help you remember to stay on the right path, try using the letters HPI:
Honest
Pure
Integral (Doing what is right)
Being perfect is not the goal. We all make mistakes sometimes. The important thing is to be honest with God. When you mess up, you can ask Him for help and start over.
God is like a Master Builder. He is helping you build your life, one good choice at a time. Every time you choose to be honest, you are laying another strong stone for your foundation.

Encouragement You don’t have to build your life alone. God is there to help you choose what is right, even when it feels difficult. When you choose integrity, you are building a life that honors Him and brings peace to your heart. Keep going—your choices matter!
